A damaged return and a resellable return should not follow an indistinguishable path. An exchange also needs a clear connection between the item received and the replacement sent.
Returns and exchanges gained explicit condition choices, required reasons, linked receipts, and a controlled path to replacement deliveries.

Return condition and reason travel with the original delivery, exchange receipt and replacement movement.
Customer service and the warehouse can follow the same chain from the original delivery through the return and replacement.
The inspected receipt is Done and its ProA RMA section identifies an Exchange, a Bad (to Scrap) condition and a Damaged reason.
The destination is the damaged-item return location. The workflow section contains separate original-delivery and replacement-delivery references.
Use condition and flow to understand the returned item’s route, then follow the linked replacement instead of treating it as unrelated stock work.
Customer service and warehouse staff can trace which delivery was returned and which movement replaces it.
Start from the original completed delivery. Choose return or exchange, capture condition, and select a reason.
The return receipt retains the reason and condition so the warehouse can follow the configured route.
Validating the exchange receipt creates linked replacement work, with duplicate-creation protection.
Good returns and damaged returns should not be treated as the same incoming stock.
Original delivery, return receipt and replacement are separate movements connected by the RMA workflow.
The existing Done receipt provides visible traceability; no replacement or stock return was created for this case.
Existing records are shown as captured. Private identities are covered or outside the crop. No business records were changed for this collection. Implementation history supports behavior beyond the visible screen; a still image is not an end-to-end test or a measured productivity result.
